We took a traditional pattern, shortened the bottom, carefully placed the all around steel boning to not grind the ribs and then reinforced the waist for the ultimate in cinching power. Corset features an 11" front busk which we covered for hiding under your clothes but we added an inch in each direction with no boning for more comfort while sitting and slight breast support so the front actually measures 13".
